Finding a toy that encourages imagination and fantasy while also increasing manipulative and developmental skills is often difficult. Most people look for this type of toy and often are disappointed at the lack of toys available that allow for interaction when learning. The playmobil castle series meets all of these needs in a central and fun location that a child will enjoy.

All of the parts of the castle work. A child can see how the catapult works, take apart the pulley on the drawbridge, or remove the axle from a cart. Be deconstructing and constructing the different elements, the child developed the dexterity and manipulative skills that will give them an added advantage in school. They also learn how to interact socially in a safe setting.

A book is included with each castle that discussion the history or era that the castle represents. Parents are given tips and techniques for including education about history into their child's play activities. Discussion items are included to create dialogue about the history of the castle and how the people of that time lived.

The playmobil castles are made from study plastic that is easily maintained and cleaned. Many of the castles outlast the growing child and are used by children in the family for several years. Talking to a professional who is knowledgeable about each castle that is available and the type of castle that is best for the age that will receive it will be beneficial.
