When you look on a toy box and see recommended for ages six to twelve years of age you should know right away that you need to heed the lower end of the age bracket for safety reasons, but you don't have to worry about the upper age limit. While kids enjoying running the backyard playing war games, adults often enjoy doing things like that too. When you were a kid, you probably did the same thing with sticks or toy guns. You might have even used Nerf guns if you were a kid in the eighties or later.
